ABOUT US
The Olm Family have been farming in the Lockyer Valley since 1884, developing and founding the "Lockyer Valley Salad Bowl".
The operation started to expand and take off under the reins and direction of Charles Olm. In the early 1970's he decided to trial lettuce growing in the Lockyer Valley. Overcoming many obstacles and critics he started sending truckloads of fresh produce to the Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne Markets.
Always looking for diversity in the market and wanting to follow his passion for beef - Charles with his wife Kristine started to build up their beef operation.
It was the hard work and innovation born through Charles and Kristine that established the building blocks for Charlie's Paddock.
Charlie's Paddock is a strong family operation with well established roots - spanning over 5 generations. All 5 children and their family's are involved in running and operation this farming enterprise.
All generations have a strong value for working with the land with a passion for producing a high quality product both in small cropping, fodder growing and beef production.
